Darth Vader comic #15: Burning Seas, Part III by Charles Soule

"Darth Vader #15: Burning Seas, Part III" written by Charles Soule, illustrated by Giuseppe Camuncoli, Daniele Orlandini, and David Curiel
This was a great issue that held a number of fun surprises. I loved every minute of it! The pace was fast but we still got a good bit of intriguing tactical dialogue. And we see more of Vader's intense power.
Vader finds himself at the bottom of The Great Ungeness Trench and his suit is giving out on him, but being his powerful self, he creates what appears to be an air bubble all around him, bringing his suit under control...until a giant squid-like creature attacks! But of course Vader finds a way to ride the squid up toward the surface and his Inquisitors rescue him...something it turns out he's not too happy about. They haven't killed the Jedi yet and that to him is failure and all there is to it. Poor guys are so confused. Vader of course is as arrogant as ever saying that he doesn't need rescue.
It is heartwarming to see Quarren praying for their king's survival even though he is a Mon Calamari...I love seeing the two species work together so closely!
Tarkin says Raddus should not be underestimated as a tactician!! LOVE it. Of course, I love Raddus.
The people of Mon Cala have these awesome flying Seadoo things that they use to attack the Empire's aerial staging grounds!! They use metal-encased projectiles rather than energy bolts and bring the platform's shields down. Real bullets in the Star Wars universe...interesting. Tarkin is not happy at all and the ISB agent under him pays the price.
Will the Inquisitors get to the Jedi before he escapes? Or will Vader's mission fail? Can't wait to find out in the next issue!
