How many times can I say Wrecker is precious? Turns out at least once per review of this show! I love him so much and he starts out this episode training Omega to disarm a bomb. I love how he's taken the girl under his wing and plays the father figure. We thought it would be Hunter what with his moral crisis over caring for or letting go of Omega, but it ends up being Wrecker by a long shot and I am so here for it! In what starts off as a potential father moment for Tech, Omega asks him what the war was like, to which he responds, "It was a primary mission objective comprised of battles on various fronts." Yeah, Omega's stand-in father is definitely Wrecker. 

Now for a little about the overall episode. The Bad Batch are still on Bracca in the Jedi cruiser. Unfortunately, the local Scrappers have notified the Empire of their whereabouts and Crosshair gets sent to intercept his estranged brothers. It's all very spooky, edge-of-your-seat, and super intense. The Batch even get stuck in the ion engine chamber of the Jedi cruiser just as Crosshair's team turns the engine on (see image above)!! Luckily, they come up with a plan to separate the exhaust cone from the engine (see image below)...unluckily, they get separated as the cone tumbles and falls away with them inside of it. Crosshair gets badly injured by his own handiwork as his brothers escape.

A super intriguing plot point was brought out in Lama Su and Nala Se discussing a contingency plan!!!... Ooooh. I cannot wait to find out more about this! Kaminoan mystery is back! All we find out is that they want Omega back and alive...dun dun dun!!

But the real kicker of this episode was the return of CAD BANE!!!! I sucked in my breath hard when I heard THAT voice! Followed by exclamations of "No way!!! They actually did it!!!" The music was western perfection, his voice was recognizable on its own, and Todo 360 (his adorable droid) is back as well!! And he's ready to get his way...bad news for all our heroes... I cannot wait for this week's episode!!! So many cliffhangers...so many questions!!!
