We last saw Dr. Aphra relaxing on a beach, taking it easy for once after parting ways with 000 and BT-1. She was then of course attacked by people she had somehow wronged, managing to kill two of the attackers in the process. And now we start a new story arc!
Imperial officer Magna Tolvan is back, but she's been demoted because of her dealings with Aphra not turning out for the best. You'll remember her as the white-haired Captain with the metal plating covering her neck and chin who Aphra left stranded on a random planet after the Yavin mission with Aphra's father. Poor woman can't catch a break. She's the one pictured in the background of this issue's cover.
Aphra and a new crew go to Someilk in the Outer Rim to raid an Imperial communications outpost for Clone Wars era data. Who is the leader of this mission? Just wait till you see how the tables have turned!! Poor Aphra.
My favorite part of this issue was Aphra's flirting with Tolvan. Aphra can be so sweet sometimes. Her innocence is adorable despite her not-so-good nature. And the way the artists portray her with such cute features just makes you not help but love her.
I'm excited to see where this series goes what with the surprise ending! Definitely wasn't expecting this turn of events... Remastered, indeed! How will Aphra get out this time?
