Doctor Aphra comic #23: The Catastrophe Con, Part IV by Simon Spurrier

"Doctor Aphra #23: The Catastrophe Con, Part IV" written by Simon Spurrier, illustrated by Kev Walker, Marc Deering, and Java Tartaglia
What a fantastic issue with so much going on! I absolutely loved reading this...Aphra's series always makes me smile.
We left the last issue with Aphra revealing the Force-spores to the wardens of Accresker Jail. The jail is now on a collision course with a Rebel planet!!! And Sana and Tolvan are both marooned on the jail with Aphra. Plus 000 and Tam Posla each know of Aphra's whereabouts. So much bad!! How will this go?!
Aphra calls in to Tam pretending that Lopset is Evazan (because remember Lopset is a shapeshifter) and Tam is all for rescuing her knowing his hands will soon be on the evil doctor. During the conversation, Tam calls Aphra a "malefactress." Haha! What a great word.
Awww, Tolvan almost calls Aphra her girlfriend!! <3
Apparently the jail is headed to Tiferep Major, a planet with 2 billion people and 67% Rebel sympathizers. Sana is not happy about the loss of potential Rebels and Tolvan is not happy about the loss of compliant citizens. Funny how Tolvan is still so Imperial despite her liking for the rogue archaeologist.
Sana and Aphra have a heartfelt conversation ending with Sana saying she gets it that Aphra couldn't help being born awful. Poor Aphra.
Aphra fiddles around with some techy stuff and manages to set the gravity at half. She yells, "Science!" twice in response to questions about how she did it. I love it!!
During all the craziness Tolvan does the unthinkable! How does she expect to survive after putting such a call through? What will this bring down on Aphra? I can't wait to find out!
