Resistance Season 2: Episode 4: Hunt on Celsor 3

Resistance Season 2: Episode 4: Hunt on Celsor 3, written by Sharon Flynn, directed by Brad Rau
Nothing of consequence happened in this side-story episode. But I guess they had to show us how the people of the Colossus were going to deal with running out of food somehow. Honestly though, I don't think I would've questioned it if the Colossus had had abundant food and there was no scarcity problem. Perhaps the scarcity of supplies issue is something that will create an obstacle leading to more consequential stories down the line. We'll just have to wait and see.
The Colossus has run out of food and Aunt Z makes a wild proposal to solve the predicament! She suggests they capture the jakoosk (the giant ray looking creature with gnarly teeth from last week's episode)--apparently there's a lot of meat on its bones... The pirates jump at the opportunity to exchange capturing the beast for free food and drink while Torra and Kaz convince Captain Doza to let them join in the hunt. But we know from the previous episode that blaster fire can't penetrate the top of this creature's hide...so how will they manage bringing down the giant beast???
That's really all there is to say without giving away what happens. No profound revelations or canon connections and not even any scenes with Tam and the First Order. This episode was very cut and dry with, of course, just a touch of humor thrown in for good measure. Oh!! But we did get to see more of Buggles!!! Torra's adorable pet voorpak. I always love me some Buggles action. A couple more things before I sign off: 1) The jakoosk's ice moon is, if the title is any indication, Celsor 3. 2) The pirates' ship is so incredibly lovely and reminiscent of real world Earth pirates' ships. See the image above of it sailing through the sky of Celsor 3 (the Fireball and Torra's ship are also in the shot).
Looks like we'll get more First Order action in the next episode or at least the aftermath of it. And we're going to meet a new Nikto! I wonder if Nena will be anything like Neeku! I hope so because I do oh so love my dear sweet Neeku.
