Meet the Villains: Stormtroopers by Emma Grange

Meet the Villains: Stormtroopers by Emma Grange
This book was fantastic!!! 53 questions covered stormtroopers from both the Empire and the First Order. Since it was about a group of people instead of just one character, it read more like a reference book--although Finn did get a few questions on him. But that was fine by me because I got some awesome trivia facts out of the deal *wink*. It also was the only book out of the four (check out my previous reviews of Meet the Villains: Darth Vader, Meet the Heroes: Chewbacca, and Meet the Heroes: R2-D2) that included images from the cartoons ("Rebels" specifically)! So it seemed to take everything into account...except for a lack of patrol troopers and their C-PH patrol speeder bikes from Solo which I felt was an unfortunate oversight. But Rogue One was referenced several times with Chirrut Imwe, shoretroopers, death troopers, and Jedha all getting nods! *my heart* There's even an entire double-page spread on clones mentioning Kamino and Jango Fett!

Trivia!!
- mudtroopers are also called swamp troopers
- death troopers are about 6 foot 5 inches tall
- stormtrooper armor is made of 18 plastoid armor pieces
- 25,984 stormtroopers work on the Death Star
- more than 9,700 stormtroopers can fit on a Star Destroyer
- Atmospheric Assault Landers can hold 20 stormtroopers
- a stormtrooper squad contains 10 members

I will say it was funny though how such lines as "they don't like stormtroopers" were frequently used in reference to the "good guys" while in a strange turn, for the question, "Where else do stormtroopers come from?" the answer ends with "Would you like to join them?" I couldn't tell whether the book was for or against the baddies which is fine, just quirky to me.
We also got a really cool image of the inside of a stromtrooper helmet!! See below.
All in all, a book that took aspects of the entire saga and melded them together to make a fine young reader's reference book purely about our favorite faceless troops. I absolutely loved this one!! I really hope they come out with more of these question books because the format is super smooth and easy and a lot of fun to dig into.
