Meet the Villains: Darth Vader by Ruth Amos

Meet the Villains: Darth Vader by Ruth Amos
A delightful young reader's book, this one was a joy to read! The format was that of questions upon questions covering all different aspects of our favorite Sith Lord and those close to him. Questions ranged from those about Anakin growing up on Tatooine all the way to Vader's final redemption in Return of the Jedi. In all, there are 63 different questions!!
My favorite answers were those to the questions at the end:
-"Is there any good left in Vader? Yes, a little bit. He still cares for his son, Luke. Deep underneath his anger and fear, there is still love." Yes!!!! Love!! He fell and then rose again because of his intense ability to love.
-"What makes him return to the light side? Love for his son! […] Vader cannot just stand by and watch his son in danger!"
-"How does he help Luke? Vader destroys the Emperor! […] Vader becomes Anakin once again! Father and son are finally reunited."
-"Is there peace in the galaxy? Yes, at last! […] Anakin's return to the light side has brought balance back to the Force. Darth Vader is no more!" Chosen One anybody?? *wink*
Each page is accompanied with several photos from the movies and of course my favorite photo is the one below of Force ghost Anakin *heart* with Yoda and Obi-Wan:
I don't have too much to say on this one, but I will recommend it for any young Vader fan and any age fan who wants reminders of what makes Vader Vader in all his facets.
