This issue felt like a super quick read but was still jam-packed with tons of action and intrigue! I am so here for this arc!!
We left off last issue with Benthic forming a plan of his own--one of utter destruction and terror for Shu-Torun. Will his devious ideas come to fruition?? As Benthic says in this issue, "We can make it Jedha's twin."...which is quite terrifying.
As Leia's team holds down the Imperial Retreat, C-3PO exclaims (in a compassionate turn of heart) "Oh, I hope Artoo is doing well. That brave little droid takes such risks!" I love when he says kind words about his ever-present companion!!
It appears SCAR Squadron figured out how to rig up a com to send a message to Commander Kanchar from Hubin! Now the Imperials know of the imminent attack on Shu-Torun!! Will they defend the planet or annihilate it in pursuit of the Rebels?
Everything seems to be going as planned with Luke's team in The Spike...until Benthic finally takes over and tries to get R2 to hypercharge the final remaining generator!! Will R2 listen?? You'll have to read to find out.
Queen Trios looks angry and dashing simultaneously all throughout this issue. Her armor and the armor of her troops gleams like jewels (see below). She looks like a warrior goddess throughout...and we all know she's got the guts to follow through on whatever she must do to save her planet. Will the arrival of Imperial troops help or hinder her attempt?!?
Things are definitely ramping up in this arc and I'm loving that not only do we have external conflict but we also have internal issues what with the Partisans ready to lay waste to anything the Empire has touched. There's just so many layers in what's happening and it is wonderful!! Can't wait to see how everything is going to play out...
