Star Wars comic #47: Mutiny at Mon Cala, Part IV by Kieron Gillen

First of all, I just want to say how cool it is that the Darth Vader comic series is showing how King Lee Char ends up in prison while the Star Wars comic series taking place much later shows how King Lee Char ends up out of prison! What a neat way to coincide the two series without doing an impossible cross-over (due to the time difference).
This was a fun issue with 3PO providing a good bit of the entertainment. As he's one of my favorite characters, I was delighted. Events unfolding with our heroes were a mile a minute of action and near escapes. A solid issue for sure.
The Magnetite Ballets of Shu-Torun are apparently a thing.
So while our heroes are working on getting into the base at Strokill Prime to free the king, C-3PO has a lot on his plate. The poor droid finds himself doing everything he can to bale out Tunga the Clawdite as he's not playing the part of Moff Hubi all that well. Tunga makes a few bad choices in his impersonation and this leaves Admiral Urtya quite confused about what is going on. Trios does her best to alleviate Urtya's concerns and continue the farce.
3PO's passion for the Mon Cala opera is so cute...he's loving the sorceress and her hunt for the eggs that occurs in this particular operatic piece. And he gladly recounts the story to Tunga/Hubi as the opera unfolds.
Things look like they're going well on Strokill Prime, until the worst possible scenario reveals itself!! Can't wait to see what happens next...
