Star Wars: Resistance - Episode 13 - "Dangerous Business"

Star Wars: Resistance - Episode 13 - "Dangerous Business" written by Eugene Son, directed by Saul Ruiz
This was actually a super exciting episode and I had no idea where it was going to go!! Things looked crazy dire for Kaz and my heart was racing. There was still a good bit of humor thrown in the mix that had me laughing out loud and I have to say I quite enjoyed this one.
The opening fanfare was the same as usual which fit this episode for the most part. Although we do get First Order glimpses, they don't take up a large visual part of the episode.
So I'm a bit confused to start. Kaz wakes up super early, or pulls an all-nighter to repair the Firebird so that when Neeku, Tam, and Yeager get to the shop, all the work is already done. This is great and all but he says he made a deal with Flix and Orka that he would mind their shop for the day in exchange for all the parts he needed. Why isn't Yeager upset with Kaz deciding to work somewhere else for the day without running it by him first...? I don't get it.
Flix and Orka are leaving for the day to go visit Flix's mother! And I never realized it before but Flix sounds super gay. I freaking love it!! Maybe they are an old married couple! They come back from their trip talking about how Flix never tells the truth about his dad (he says he's part Gungan haha) and they seem even more so to fall into that comfortable old married couple gag. I can't wait to see more of them!
We see a new use for BB-8's lighter extension--as a way to ward off Flix and Orka's gorg Bitey (see above). BB-8 trying to keep away from Bitey was quite a funny exchange.
Poor Kaz gets himself into a LOT of trouble as a hulking Keteerian named Teroj Kee is after a phase connector at Flix and Orka's shop no matter the cost. BB-8 has a fabulous fight scene with the alien as Kaz is desperately trying to get out of a large locked shipping container.
Things go awry and chaos ensues. Even the First Order is involved in the shenanigans. I'll be curious to see what they would want with a phase connector! Apparently these parts are used to demolish asteroids and planetoids in mining endeavors. What could this mean for the rest of the galaxy???
New species--well actually they've been shown before but never this up close as far as I remember!! Speagull--see below. A pretty nifty looking avian creature.
So all-in-all an exciting story that seems to delve into a little bit more about what's going on behind closed doors. Can't wait to find out what it all means!!!
