This was a wonderful issue with SO much going on!! My attention was absolutely consumed by each turn of the page. Perhaps because so much was happening and I was so enthralled, it also felt really short and definitely left me wanting more!! Each of our heroes is in an intriguing situation. Each must use their own skills and expertise to find a way out!
We start off with an Imperial officer, Captain Tanch, talking down to an underling. He calls Cloud City a "quasi-legal tibanna gas mining operation" hahaha! I freaking love this! Of course it was quasi-legal under Lando's purview! Tanch wants his people to do everything they can to halt the destruction Lando has wreaked on the city's gas mining operation by way of Lobot. So we now have troopers headed toward Lando's location...just as he's trying to save Lobot! Then there's Luke trying to find his lightsaber amidst a HUGE pile of refuse. And Leia trapped in carbonite!! Will Lobot get away with his friend?? Will Luke find his lightsaber?? Will Leia escape her prison??
I will tell you this, because it is just SO good...Lobot reprograms some mouse droids to attack the troopers headed their way (see the mouse droid cadre and them attacking below!). He's able to do this because he's plugged into the city's mainframe (the thing I didn't want to give away in my last review...poor guy! See below). AND...an Ugnaught finds Luke's saber!! Is he a friend of Maz's?? How does the lightsaber get from this lowly worker's hands to the wily space pirate's?? See him finding the saber below after Luke gives a huge spiel about a lightsaber not being a Jedi and how he can still be one with the Force without it...

I don't want to say much else or I'll end up giving the whole issue away. Needless to say it was exciting, enjoyable, surprising, and I cannot wait for the next issue!!
