Doctor Aphra comic #22: The Catastrophe Con, Part III by Si Spurrier

"Doctor Aphra #22: The Catastrophe Con, Part III" written by Si Spurrier, illustrated by Kev Walker, Marc Deering, and Java Tartaglia
What a fantastic issue!! We get absolute awkwardness between Tolvan and Sana over Aphra, viciously deadly space spores, and a Bor Gullet-type creature! So much happening and it all made perfect sense which was wonderful. We're left in the end with two tight spots...but we know Aphra will figure a way out somehow.
Tam Posla has apparently made it out okay...and is still gravely upset about Caysin's untimely death--something rightly believed to be the fault of Dr. Aphra. For now Tam is on the hunt for Dr. Evazan though, distraught by all the horrible things the man has done, including decraniating Caysin.
We then begin where we left off. With Tolvan awaiting Aphra in a TIE fighter, begging her to stop treasure hunting and accept her rescue. Then Sana Starros swoops in and fires on Tolvan!!
Gundravian Hookspores then attack Aphra and Lopset as they stand inside the Jedi spacecraft. These are apparently a super deadly space mold and are what was pretending to be Aphra's ghostly mother! So creepy.
Aphra calls Tolvan "Captain Snuggles"!! Love it <3 It is hilarious watching Sana and Tolvan both come to the realization they've had romantic entanglements with the same girl! Lopset even says, "Awkward". Haha!
Aphra is taken off to interrogation by what looks to be a type of Bor Gullet. It is called a Bor Ifriem so I guess they are actually different types of Bors. Interesting. It is also referred to as a member of the Mairan race.
I've probably mentioned this before, but Sana's ship is called the Volt Cobra.
Tam intercepts a transmission that says, "Did you find that blackmailing, tech-tinkering, tomb-tossing, queen of all she-devils?" He rightly assumes the transmission is about Aphra! Haha...poor Aphra... And unfortunately...someone else is listening in...
     Then everything goes to s***!
These comics are so good and always leave me wanting more. I can't wait to see how this all plays out!
