Captain Phasma comic #3 written by Kelly Thompson

"Captain Phasma #3" written by Kelly Thompson; illustrated by Marco Checchetto, Andres Mossa, and VC's Clayton Cowles
This was a good read with some bits leaving more questions than answers...answers I don't think we'll ever get. But that's okay. I guess it just adds to the mystery of the planet Luprora. Also, I'm not really sure where the cover art comes into play, at least in this particular issue, as it appears Phasma is lying on the ground with someone walking up to her prone body...very weird.
Synopsis: Phasma and TN-3465 lead the native Lupr'or into battle against the mysterious indigenous species. All in a bid to capture the Lieutenant who caught Phasma's transgression.
Turns out there is a very old Lupr'or who was in fact born in the stars before the people made their home on Luprora. She holds a secret involving a special necklace that we never see revealed. I'm really curious as to what the big deal with the necklace was since Phasma makes such a to-do about it. But I kinda doubt we'll get answers to that. The ship Phasma and TN-3465 are led to does house a pretty cool weapon that does some major damage on the Tsw'ells. Really sad but interesting visual that created.
The indigenous species that has built the large tower also holds an intriguing surprise. One I will not give away here.
The best bit of dialogue in this stands as a reminder to Phasma's true character as so vividly portrayed in Phasma. "You're really making a difference in their lives." - TN-3465. "Don't be absurd. I need an army to get through there. They're nothing more than cannon fodder, pilot." - Phasma. Yeah, she sucks as a human being...
The synopsis for the upcoming end to this short run series says we'll see her cross the galaxy to rejoin the First Order, so I'm definitely wondering how they're going to wrap up the story line she's currently embroiled in to bring us full circle... Guess we'll see!
