Doctor Aphra comic #13: The Enormous Profit, Part V by Kieron Gillen

"Doctor Aphra #13: The Enormous Profit, Part V" written by Kieron Gillen, illustrated by Kev Walker, Marc Deering, and Antonio Fabela
What a fabulous issue!! So much happened and so many places were visited. Definitely worth the read.
My favorite part was Vader toying with Rur - man he flung that over-confident technomancer all around.
Aphra manages to make it back to The Shadow University's ship to save all the artifacts and even returns them to their rightful owners...well...most of them. She hasn't completely changed. And then she finds herself luxuriating on an exotic beach. But is trouble far away? It's Aphra! Of course not!
We not only see what happens to Aphra, but also what happens to BT/000 and Krrsantan. BT and 000 decide to become the new masters of the Rodian leader of the Son-Tuul Pride (they intercept him as he escapes the space station and propose "a new working relationship") and take over his criminal empire. The Rodian even has tears in his eyes at one point over how scared the two murder droids make him! Poor thing. Krrsantan has captured the Xonti brothers and it appears plans to do to them what they did to him - make them fight gladiator style. Serves them right!
We even make a trip to Coruscant to briefly visit the Emperor.
I'm always pleased when every page of a comic book has something going on that contributes to a wider story. This issue had that in spades.
I can't wait to see where this series goes from here. I love everything it's churned out so far. Aphra is such an exciting and engaging character with a depth of personality that is always a pleasure to see in "villains." Bravo Kieron Gillen!
