Darth Vader comic #20: Fortress Vader, Part II by Charles Soule

"Darth Vader #20: Fortress Vader, Part II" written by Charles Soule, illustrated by Giuseppe Camuncoli, Daniele Orlandini, Dono Sanchez-Almara, and Erick Arciniega
This issue at first felt like a weird side story but then we got to the real meat of the plot with Vader staking his claim on Mustafar. Ahhh!!! I am so enthralled with this series and all the Vader back story. Loving it!
Vader ransacks Coruscant going after two of his Inquisitors whom he thinks have grown too attached to each other. The woman looks very human like but is red all over and the man is what appears to be an ink black Twi'lek though I've never seen a Twi'lek that color before. I'm super curious about him. The chase is one action-packed panel after another with Vader always one step ahead. Until finally they think they have him beat...and Vader finds the most Romeo and Juliet way to off the both of them. It's super sweet in a really macabre way. The ink black Twi'lek says that at least they are now free. Hmmm...I wonder how the other Inquisitors feel about being under the tutelage of Vader.
The Emperor is not happy about the destruction Vader has caused across Coruscant on his mad chase. But then the Emperor says he wants to move past Vader's failures and on to his reward for hunting down the Jedi. He gives Vader the Nubian yacht that was once Padme's royal ship!!! OMG! How heart-wrenching that must be for him to see. So sad. Then Vader asks for his own world and specifically requests Mustafar! It was him who wanted his castle on the planet where he almost died...not Palpatine! How freaking twisted.
Ooooh...so the synopsis for the next issue says that echoes from the past will reach out to him from the dark history of the Sith!!! I cannot wait to see how this goes. Please give us some awesome, solid insights into the ancient Sith! Until then...
