So this was a pretty great issue where we see the fruition of Leia's plans to get the codes off the Executor. The code hand off once she is safely back on the Rebel cruiser is akin to the hand off in Rogue One albeit with no Vader interference. I definitely appreciated the symmetry.
OMG! Han is getting into an X-wing to pick up the fight! I'm so proud of him for playing the hero. Chewie seems to want to get in on the action as well, but Han points out that no fighters on hand are Wookiee-sized. And--a great line--Han says Chewie doesn't want to fly a Y-wing anyway because "It's like trying to dogfight on a Bantha." Haha!
General Draven delivers a fabulous line, "It always bugged me that Jyn Erso got to be the hero and I got to be the guy who was wrong." WONDERFUL. And his character is given his due, fighting for what he believes in.
Well, the Rebels enact their anti-Vader drill for all the good it does them... And Luke comments on how good Leia is at flying without knowing it's her...interesting...maybe she inherited a little something from her Papa.
     Trivia:
-Meorti helps put 3PO back together.
Overall, an issue that moves the story forward and now we see the Rebels have a method of escape--the codes are in hand. But there's still so many people to save on the Mako-Ta Space Dock itself. How will the Rebellion survive this crushing blow? And will hope really die? I'm super curious to see how all this concludes.
