Poe Dameron comic #19: War Stories, Part III by Charles Soule
"Poe Dameron 19: War Stories, Part III" written by Charles Soule, illustrated by Angel Unzueta and Arif Prianto
What a fabulous issue! There was so much action and so much heart it left me breathless. I genuinely loved every minute of this tale and cannot wait to read more. The "Poe Dameron" comic series just keeps getting better every time I read it.
There was suspense, action, surprise, and character all rolled into one great big ball of fun. Unfortunately, according to the synopsis for the upcoming issue, it looks like our adventure may be close to its end. I, for one, am not looking forward to a finish for this particular series.
Synopsis: Kare, Jess, and Suralinda have been captured by the First Order on the planet of Spalex. Snap and Poe are being held captive on the First Order light cruiser Enshado. Can Snap and Poe escape in time to save the rest of Black Squadron?
Suralinda outdoes herself in a bid to show her loyalty to the Resistance as does Oddy Muva despite his love for his wife. And to see Terex bucking his leash in favor of the Reistance is almost gleeful. Wonderful characters showed through in brilliant colors, and the result was a fast-paced ride that kept me engaged and enthralled. I cannot wait to keep reading!
