Rogue One comic Part VI

"Rogue One, Part VI" written by Jody Houser, illustrated by Emilio Laise and Rachelle Rosenberg
Having just watched Rogue One for the umpteenth time tonight, I was fired up and ready to read the last installment of the Rogue One comic book run. And it was a doozy. As it's the final act, we see every last one of the main characters die in this issue with as much splendor in print as in the film. The way scenes are spliced together is brilliant and keeps you reading right along.
The artwork was fabulous and the facial expressions were spot on. Even Bodhi's hand gestures were captured perfectly.
As for the ending, this issue gives us the opening crawl for A New Hope, a splendid way to wrap things up...and gear me up to want to watch A New Hope again!
I absolutely love the movie and the comic books have done a wonderful job of portraying it in a visually stunning print format. I definitely recommend checking out the full run - it even holds some surprise flashbacks and other moments that are not in the film, so it is for sure a must read.
